The retrofit coordinator will fulfil three roles:
Manage:
They undertake the traditional role of a construction project manager in respect of planning, organising and managing projects towards delivery on time and on budget.
Coordinate:
Providing informed advice and support to contractors and consultants to engender understanding and teamwork in order to achieve the energy performance that retrofit seeks.
Quality assure:
Providing assurance to retrofit clients so that the risk in the project is managed.
Co-Ordinator (RC) is a very accountable role and is a person who is liable for demonstrating compliance for all the PAS documentation.

Every domestic retrofit project requiring compliance with
PAS 2035:2019 must be managed by a Retrofit Coordinator in accordance with the requirements of PAS 2035:2019.
Typically our Retrofit Coordinators will:
Liaise with the installer to review the upcoming project.
Consult the Client agree and record the intended outcomes of the project.
Protect the client’s and the public’s interest, ensuring that projects are safe, high quality and performing to their maximum potential.
Oversee the retrofit process from start to finish as a project manager.
Where competent to do so, a Coordinator may also fulfil the other specialist roles in the retrofit process. This depends on the level of risk involved in the project.
